In 2015, UCCS marked our 50th Anniversary with a host of events and activities.
Chancellor Message
Over the past 50 years, the University of Colorado Colorado Springs and the Colorado Springs community have worked together to create one of the most innovative and fastest-growing University of Colorado campuses, meeting the needs of Colorado's second-largest metropolitan area and beyond. We have come so far from our initial university program offerings of engineering and business; today UCCS offers 37 bachelor's, 19 master's, and five doctoral degrees in six colleges and schools. I can hardly believe as of fall 2014 we have over 11,000 students enrolled on campus. I am gratified by the diverse student and graduate population that we serve, and am especially proud of the number of first generation students whose college graduation changes not only their lives, but the lives of future generations.
As we look back on our shared accomplishments, we move forward with excitement about what the next 50 years will bring. Join us as we "Celebrate 50 Years: Shaping Lives & Building Community."
Go Mountain Lions!

Chancellor
If you finished the sentence “We are…” about UCCS, what would you say?
In anticipation of UCCS’ 50th Anniversary, we asked you to complete the sentence “We are…” in six words (or less!). We announced winners and created a special gift with the winning entries that was distributed to all attendees at the 50th Anniversary Kick-Off Celebration on January 22.
